    Great service, good location for a stopping point while cruising the Pacific Coast Highway. It's hidden in the back row, in the Crystal Cove Shopping Center, behind Javier's restaurant, the place known for golddiggers of both sexes. LOL

    Accidentally placed an iced cloud macchiato at Newport Coast/San Joaquin location instead of Crystal Coast location. :-( I was in a rush to a 5 pm appointment in Newport Coast, I told the barista the situation and showed the receipt of my recently placed order. They completely refused and rude! I went to my business meeting without my favorite Starbucks.

    I'm always ordering 4-6 days a week at Starbucks for myself and our 3 kids (lots of money spent here)this is how they treat their customers?

    My friend ordered by accident at Starbucks in Cdm, thought she ordered at Balboa Island, didn't realize it until they told her they didn't have her drink. The barista at this location said, no problem and made my friend her drink once she proved her order with receipt from iPhone! Excellent service to Balboa Island.

    Picked up matcha green tea creme Frappuccino and it was half whipped cream and only half full.  I had 2 other orders and in a hurry and could not get the attention of any of the barista.  So had to leave with a half full Frappuccino.  Horrible customer service .

    Perfect place to read, journal & people-watch. In addition to the awesome ocean view - the true gem is Melvin.  

    He's user-friendly and truly a positive person. He makes this place feel less like a chain location and more like a neighborhood coffee shop. I observed him greeting regulars by name & cheerfully going about his duties (even taking out the trash with a smile). He provided thoughtful suggestions to guests and readily helped out team members.

    I had every intention of grabbing my coffee and going outdoors. But being in this *positive place* invited me to stick around.
